Beaches in Thailand

NEAR BANGKOK:
In the Eastern Gulf is Pattaya, South-East Asia's most renowned beach resort,
and the much quieter resort of Bang Saen.
A little further away is Ko Samet, an idyllic island about
half an hour's boat ride from Rayong.
Two to three hours south of Bangkok are Cha'am and Hua Hin.
The latter was a royal watering place and is currently enjoying a renaissance.

Chaweng is the islands most established. The beach extends approx. 7 Kms.
The beach itself is very relaxing and peaceful but noticeably more touristy
during the high season. The water is clean and usually between 25 - 28 degrees Celsius.

Lamai
If you are looking for long, white sand beaches, majestic green coconut palms everywhere,
warm, azure blue crystal clear water - in short, a place that matches everybody's concept
of a tropical paradise, then Koh Samui and Lamai beach is ideal for you.

BoPhut
This is undoubtedly one of the most charming beach spots.
The beach itself encompasses some two kilometers of white sandy
shoreline fringed by coconut palms, and the calm waters of
the bay make this a popular spot for relaxing.

Meanam
This beach is about 2 Kms to the west of Boput
The beach is calm, clean and runs for approx. 4 Kms.
The laid back "FEEL" here attracts many couples
and honeymooners, whose priority is not the busy nightlife.
